Kitten Pack 1 is a good place to start for most kittens, but always discuss your pet’s lifestyle with a veterinary professional before deciding on the appropriate care for your kitten.
This package contains the basic feline combination vaccine, a dewormer, and a fecal test to screen for a variety of internal parasites. Keep your kitten indoors and separated from other cats as much as possible throughout the course of the Kitten Series.
VIP Petcare recommends vaccinating and deworming your kitten starting at 8 weeks of age and then every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age.

This clinic is not set up as competition for our vets in Texarkana. It is as a low cost alternative for pet owners who cannot otherwise afford the services. This is a great opportunity to get your pets updated on vaccinations. Protecting your pets from diseases is very important as well as preventing them from reproducing over and over. Our local shelters are full from dogs and cats in our neighborhoods that have not been fixed.
If you need heart worm prevention, you will need to provide proof that your pet has tested negative within the past year or pay a reduced fee to have your pet tested.
Animal Protection League is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1984 in the State of Texas as an animal rescue and adoption agency. In May of 1996, they reorganized and began operating a low cost spay/neuter and vaccination program which is located in Sulpher Springs, Texas.

To protect animals and people, the Health Department is hosting a rabies clinic at the Clark Mills Firehouse on May 8th, from 5 to 7 p.m. All dogs, cats and ferrets, three months or older, may receive the vaccine for a ten dollar donation.
According to the agency, four cases of the virus have been confirmed this year; three in raccoons and one in a bat. In three of those cases, there was human contact requiring Post Exposure Treatment.
Officials suggest owners not leave their pets unattended outdoors and to keep food dishes inside the house. They also suggest capturing any bats found in your home and submitting them for testing.
